In 1940, Luigi Girardi set up a bicycle saddle factory with around forty workers. The war years were difficult, but Selle San Marco prospered at selling high-quality leather saddles and the comm. Girardi got a lot of satisfactions: his company became not only a point of reference for all the bicycle industry, but also a model of business to follow.
The new San Marco Concor Racing Saddle takes the rounded but slim profile that made the original Concor such a hit and refines the design even further, cutting-edge materials and over two years of painstaking design have gone into making a superlight high-performance Concor for the 21st century. Xsilite Titanium alloy rails are lighter than standard Titanium yet extremely durable. The carbon reinforced hull is custom tuned to offer a degree of flex when needed whilst remaining firm enough to give the rider a solid, stable base to push against. Supportive Biofoam padding for optimal support and long lasting comfort. Seamless Microfeel cover is durable, soft and supple. Handmade in Italy.
